Name_________________________       Gird Yourself!                       On the construction site of a high-rise building in the city 5 carpenters and 5 metal workers find themselves on opposite sides of the same girder.  They need to cross by each other but the girder is only wide enough to allow one worker on the girder at a time.  Fortunately there is a ledge on one side of the girder large enough to allow one worker to stand on.  Can these two groups of workers pass each other?  Hint: draw a diagram.         Good Luck!!!!!
